Original Master Recordings (Beat CD 013-2)

Beat Records have returned with one of their finest efforts to date. Titled "ORIGINAL MASTER RECORDINGS", this two-disc set features the first four Beatles albums (British versions) in true STEREO. These were taken from tape source and are superb sound quality.

For anyone who doesn’t know, the first four albums are: 'PLEASE PLEASE ME', 'WITH THE BEATLES', 'A HARD DAY’S NIGHT' and 'BEATLES FOR SALE'. It’s a real treat hearing these albums in stereo. Listening to the songs again is like discovering the music all over again. There are also a few surprises along the way. For instance, hearing the fingers on the guitar strings or being able to make out the breathing between verses. (I know, it sounds weird but it can be really fun getting that much closer to the music and to The Beatles themselves.)

Fans of stereo versions of The Beatles albums will be delighted with this release. Beat Records perform well when they produce records of this caliber. My hat is off to them.
