BEATLES NITE IN COVENT GARDEN
Welcome to the BEATLES NITE in Rock Garden, Covent Garden London Wednesday 26th August 1998 In a wonderful August summer night we met many nice Beatles-fans from all around the world. And we listened to a lot of Beatles music from five GREAT bands. Here they are!
A charming band! Experts of earlier Beatles songs, like them from 'BEATLES FOR SALE'
This band could play all sorts of Beatles and solo material. Their version of 'BAND ON THE RUN' was a highlight! And now.... THE HIGHLIGHT OF THE NIGHT! LENNY PANE from Sweden!
LENNY PANE made an excellent concert - as always! Lots of old ROCK AND ROLL material. We were sweating, screaming, trying to sing along!
This band played The Beatles with a nice Latin American flavour. Their version of 'WAIT' was really good! Their singer SAULO was my wife Ulla's favourite!
This was one of the best bands. Their version of 'While My Guitar Gently Weeps' was a true masterpiece! The highlight for all these Beatles bands' visit to London was their recording sessions at ABBEY ROAD STUDIOS, Studio 2 - The Beatles' original studio! Yes,
