THE FAB FAUX IN LIVERPOOL 1999
The Royal Court
Theatre,
THE FAB FAUX was the sensation of this year! This band featured top New York sessionmen, including John Cugar Mellencamp's guitarist ANDY YORK, and WILL LEE on bass, who has worked with Paul McCartney, George Harrison and Ringo Starr among others. Their version of 'Helter Skelter' was a true knock-out! The Adelphi, Sunday 29th August, 1999
Everybody is talking about THE FAB FAUX now. So when they play at The Adelphi Hotel on Sunday night, the floor is crowded. Impossible to get near the stage. Another outstanding concert! Played with greater self-confidence now, obtained after their success the night before. When they played 'Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except Me And My Monkey' again, we almost blow over! Castle Street, Monday 30th August, 1999
THE FAB FAUX from New York again! The street is crowded! All want to see one of the best bands during the whole Beatle Week. When they played 'Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except Me And My Monkey', me and Bosse blew over for real! What a band! Photos and text by Bengt Wärmlind, Sweden
