LIVERPOOL BEATLE WEEK Saturday 25 August 2001 Concerts at
A short visit to LIPA and the Beatles auction there. (If you want to see any pictures, take look at the 2000 Beatle Week.) Then we took a walk down to CAVERN WALKS...
The stylish CAVERN WALKS complex at Mathew Street opened in 1984. There you can find this full-sized statue made by JOHN DOUBLEWAY.
We went down into the BEATLES SHOP at Mathew Street, where I bought these beautiful stickers for Peter's parachute-helmet.
Time to go down into THE CAVERN....
We run to the Rock'n'Roll Cirkus in CHAVASSE PARK...

Tonight the bands played some of THE BEATLES' most memorable concerts...
HARD NIGHT'S DAY performed the Hamburg and Cavern days with lots of feeling and joy. What a great band! They really 'yell'! And all are excellent singers!
AUSTRALIAN BEATALS made a great performance of one of the most memorable Beatles concerts of them all - Hollywood Bowl.
THE OVERTURES returned to Royal Court to perform The Beatles' last concert - The Rooftop Concert from January 1969. And what a great version we got!!! I've Got A FEEELING!!! Back to THE ADELPHI...
CLONE FARM from North Carolina performed several of their Beatlesque original songs. And they sounded good!
