'The White
Album' at The Royal Court Theatre WELCOME TO THE BEST FAB FAUX CONCERT EVER!
Frank and Will - a pounding start with 'Back In The U.S.S.R.'. (Yes! This year I stood right in front of the stage. So hopefully you will find here my best Fab Faux photos ever!!!)
'Glass Onion' was supported by LILLY PALM on violin from Chantal and DAVE WESLING on cello - the 'Craberlocker Fishwifes'. And don't forget all support by TONY SKEGGS (ex. Overtures) playing on a million things. Don't understand why I cannot find him on one single photo here, sorry! (But there are photos of him from other places at the 2003 Beatle Week site.)
Jimmy, our guitar-hero...
Also, all the way from New York City - ERIN HILL!!!
ERIN HILL used to support The Fab Faux on their New York City concerts. How nice to meet you here in Liverpool, playing this Ringo classic. And you were so happy on stage!
So lucky Rich stepped down from his drum-platform back there, so I could take this nice photo of him. Now Will came and sat down on the edge of the stage - just beside me!
Just MAGIC to stand just near Will, singing this ballad masterpiece so beautifully! And what he did just before he started to sing, remains a secret for me and the laughing first row! I just say PPPLLLRRRPPP!! What a generous man!
This was dynamite! 'Everybody's Got Something To Hide Except Me And My Monkey'!!! We blew away - as always!
Time for Jack to enter the center of the stage. Watch out!
All went nuts...
Suddenly Jack came forward to the edge of the stage...
What a highlight! Me not only being a great Fab Faux fan, but also a band member now! thankU,ThankU,THANK YOU JACK!!! What a generous artist!!! Hope you understand how happy you made us! This was heavy, Heavy Metal! No other band ever, has played this song with so much power! And thank you ever so much for the photos, Kent!
No one has ever came up with the idea to perform 'Revolution 9' live. Not so many's favourite on the album (except Yoko Ono's!). But what a performance we got! It was fantastic fascinating to follow their performance so near the stage. Outstanding!!! Time to say farewell...
A bow and roaring applause...
(Sorry for the music-rack Frank and Jack!)
BILL HECKLE, the Cavern City Tours boss, so happy! Didn't know how to tell enough praises for the band. Beatle music never had been performed better than on this magic night! And we all heard what you promised Bill! The Fab Faux will be back next year! ENCORE...
A last bow. All so happy.
Look at Will and Jimmy! Yes, this was a magic night! To stand on the best place, just in front of the middle of the stage, was a memory of a lifetime. What a generous band! And a many thanks for the wonderful horn section lead by the legendary HOWIE CASEY. THE FAB FAUX - the best Beatle Tribute Band in the Universe! Read this wonderful mail from Fab Will:
