ROCK OFF again! (No, we didn't miss any of their seven Liverpool gigs!) Only 1 pm and a great lazy afternoon gig filled with soft country and blues songs: 'Sweet Virginia', 'Angie', 'As Tears Go By', 'Wild Horses', 'Country Honk', 'Little Red Rooster' and many more. A most memorable gig! The BEST EVER we've seen by the band!

DONOVAN gave a very interesting and generous interview. Told a lot about his life and music. Also many stories with his time together with The Beatles in England and India. He also performed 'Hurdy Gurdy Man' - with an extra verse!

MARK LEWISOHN made his second year as interviewer at Beatle Week. With all his knowledge about The Beatles, being the world's leading Beatles book author, the interviews turned out fantastic. And the artists seemed to open their hearts so easily. Many thanks, Mark!

A magic meeting! DONOVAN was a very nice and person to meet. Both at the fantastic performance at the Liverpool Empire the night before. And also during the interview half an our before this signing. He also very kindly took his time to dedicate the book to me and pose for this (and many, many more similar) pictures. The queue to the signing was more than 100 meters long! Thanks for your generosity, Donovan!

To stand in the crowd singing along in 'Bohemian Rhapsody' and 'We Are The Champions', where EVERYONE knew every single word, is unforgettable!

THE FAB FIVE comes from Liverpool, New York, USA. A fantastic solid band! The instruments just 'yelled'. And the harmonies! The best in Liverpool this year! And they started with two of my top 60s favourites: Dave Clark Five's 'Glad All Over' and 'Shaking All Over' by The Swinging Blue Jeans. Fabulous! We'll meet again on Tuesday...
