BEACHED BOYS. Super summer sounds from this excellent UK Beach Boys Tribute Band. We went to the Beatles Stage at Derby Square...
ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE. All the way from Ontario, Canada. A fantastic band with Andy Forgie giving it all on vocals. What a performer! A short visit into the sweat and heat in Cavern Front...
We go The Strand stage and one of the highlights of today - ROCKS OFF!!
ROCKS OFF from our home, Sweden. Performed a stunning show to all the wonderful people in Liverpool. Wow, how impressed they were! We rush over to Dale Street and a fantastic 60s Tribute - THE OVERTURES!!!
Tenth of thousands in front of the stage! But we managed to squeeze forward and ended up just in front of the stage! So, enjoy the pictures...
Time for the finale and Jamie's stunning soul voice...
THE OVERTURES. This must be the world's leading 60s Tribute Band! "Awesome", Elton John said, when they played at his wedding! Their repertoire includes over 400 songs with music from The Beatles, The Kinks, The Who, The Beach Boys, The Byrds etc. Time for the week's Top Show at The Liverpool Empire...
THIS IS MERSEYBEAT!! A magic night! When could you last, at the same show, see original Merseybeat legends as The Undertakers, King Size Taylor, Beryl Marsden, The Swinging Blue Jeans, The Merseybeats, and not the least - The Searchers?!! A magic night, highlights
being BERYL MARSDEN's wonderful soul voice
in
Finally - top of the bill - The SEARCHERS, lead by original member JOHN McNALLY with all their classic hits - 'Sugar And Spice', 'Needles and Pins', Sweets For My Sweet', 'When You Walk in The Room' and many more. Also in the linup, original member since 1964, FRANK ALLEN. As before no chance for me to present any photos, sitting there again at 8th row with little compact camera. Sorry! Down to the heat and sweat at Cavern Back now - ROCKS OFF!!
ROCKS OFF. Their sixth amazing gig. And every time a new set list! How do they make it? And always so great to photograph... VIP Party at The Adelphi now...
THE OVERTURES performed the NME Pollwinners Show with loads of great 60s music, accompanied with great original footage on the three TV screens. We met a good friend at The Adelphi - at the same spot as The Beatles' video 'Free As A Bird' was shot!
FRANK AGNELLO. Always so nice to meet you! Hope for your return next year with the best Beatle Band in universe - The Fab Faux! Another great American band...
THE
TEARAWAYS. A very popular band from Santa Barbara, California.
