EMI remastering The Beatles' CD's?

Norwegian newspaper Aftenposten writes about the upcoming Greatest Hits Collection, with comments by Norwegian EMI director Michael Manasse: "The reason why a greatest hits collection has been so long in the making has been because of Apple and that EMI would have liked to put it out long ago (no surprise) and also quotes the high cost of obtaining the Red and the Blue as a reason for a single album collection.

And now to THE SENSATION!! (About Apple's plans): "There are concrete plans ten years into the future, and I suppose it's no secret that there will be both DIGITALLY REMASTERED editions of the ALBUMS and a bigger BEATLES BOX with time."
